About Us

Ni hao! My name is Denise and I live in Yangshuo China. Denise is my English name. I speak Mandarin Chinese, My local language, English and a little Dutch. Most Chinese people do not speak English or any other language besides Mandarin Chinese, so I must be lucky that I can.

I live in southern China in a town called Yangshuo where I work for a travel agency. That is where I sell things but also give advice and help people finding their way here.
Perhaps you havent heared of Yangshuo yet, but it is actually a world famous place.

When most people think of my country, they think of the forbidden city, the Great wall and maybe the terracotta warriers.
But sometimes they think of the funny looking mountains they have seen in a movie, or perhaps on a picture inside a Chinese restaurant.

Yes..the same mountains you can see on top of this page. Well, that is where I live, between those mountains, at the river called the Li river. And it's really beautiful here.
